Dialogue & Television on the Last Frontier
Signature Africa Network or SAN is a South African based platform that informs about Africa’s assets, investment, people and places. This is achieved through our two main strategic touch points; dialogues and broadcasting.
The Last Frontier
SAN understands that Africa is the last frontier in the global economy. We endeavor to provide answers to the question “why this positioning should really matter? And, what Africa’s role is in the global network? ” We do so through dialogue by drawing from a fuse of Indigenous Knowledge Based Systems and contemporary references from Academia, Business, National and Regional Progressive Leaders. As activists and conveyors of knowledge and information, SAN brings light to the understandings, workings and nature of the economic, social and governance landscape in Africa.
African Union’s Agenda 2063
We cultivate progressive thinking across the Continent by providing content that has a catalytic effect to attaining the Africa we wish to create, and the Africa we want. The African Union’s agenda 2063 is driving this concept and we fully subscribe to it.
Our dialogue platforms create positive change in policy direction, social, political and other behaviour. They are anchored mainly on the Economy, Leadership, Politics and Social issues. SAN dialogues are not just about numbers and huge clapping after a rhetoric answer, but we are about ensuring quality public exchange of ideas on the issues affecting our society.
SAN is broadcast on Information TV on SKY in the United Kingdom. SKY is the UK’s largest digital television platform. We are proud to position African’s story in the Pan-European countries that are of strategic economic relevance to the Continent. SAN began broadcasting daily for one hour on June 2015. Due to an enormous demand to engage with the Continent, from March 2016, SAN broadcast for 6 hours daily from 11h00 – 17h00.
We are however currently off air as we are repackaging our material. We will return soon.
